Noodle Canteen Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Noodle Canteen recently opened up in the now very busy lane behind Medipoint hospital, Aundh. We decided to drop in for a visit as I had never tried the original one at Kalyani Nagar.

We started off with the Caramel Pepper Chicken. Absolutely LOVED it. Sweetness of caramel married beautifully with the red chilli and garlic, the 2 contrasting flavors playing dandia in my mouth!

The Chicken Spring Rolls were also pretty good with the distinct flavor of Basil ringing through, setting it apart from every other spring roll over tried.

We wrapped up with the “Sexy Singapore Noodles” that they described as Rice Vermicelli noodles, stir fried, Singapore street style. I couldn’t describe it better. Beautifully flavored, with a nice contrast of apices, these yellow noodles (coz Singapore =haldi, apparently) had a lovely smoky almost burnt flavor running through, probably due to the super hot wok they were cooked in. Suoer delicious, super light.

The guy at the counter couldn’t validate the PEO deal since his manager wasn’t present (and the aundh branch wasnt showing up on the peo app), but graciously provided 20% discount on the food.

A delicious, soul satisfying meal, for 660 bucks. Absolutely brilliant. Definitely one for multiple visits, and multiple Zomato deliveries! Noodle Canteen FTW!

Update: After this meal, I have ordered from Noodle Canteen at least once a week. Their Massaman Curry with Rice is an absolute show-stopper! so are their spring rolls and Singapore Noodles. Brilliance is an under-statement. Arguably one of my favorite Asian restaurants in the city!
